So anyway, I’m sure some of you may have read my post about Live365, I may have made some comments about the harmful effects of letting people listen to good music for free. I take back most of what I said.

After having listened to various radio stations on Live365, especially a Modern Rock Classics station, I’ve found a whole lot of artists I absolutely love.
I mean, I haven’t heard all of their songs, but from what little I’ve heard I want to listen to more.

Being big on music, I’m probably going to invest a little money in some of these artists.

So the upside of letting people listen to good music is that sooner or later someone will want to add to their own collection of music and will end up buying atleast one CD.

Of course, the downside is that, if you’re half as cheap as some of the people I know you’re probably going to pick the few bands you like and then just download their music. Which is why you’ll notice I said that I take back only most of what I said from my previous post and not everything.

I still believe that in the long run we’re only starving the artists, or at least the upcoming ones by not buying music.

I don’t mind saying that I’ll even advertise for these artists (especially the new and upcoming / good ones…) so please do save up and buy some legit music so that people won’t stop being creative and will continue to provide us with good NEW music…

That’s it for now.. but will surely be back with more soon…
