Update + History of the World!
Discipline is they key, someone very cool once said to me.
I decided to take a step every day towards the setting up of my online presence. It’s a good way to get new work, showcase your own and have people comment (criticize or brutally rip apart) on your work so you can improve.
I’ve update my portfolio page. A lot of styling still needs to be done, but at least some of my work can now be seen online.
I’m still working on re-styling this site.
Instead of creating my own theme from scratch, I’ve decided to just modify this theme to suit my site since it has almost everything I need.
For the moment, I leave you with something extremely interesting to read: The History of the World.
Here’s an except from the article:
Without the Greeks we wouldn’t have history. The Greeks invented three kinds of columns. . .Corinthian, Doric, and Ironic. They also had myths. A myth is a feminine moth. One myth says that the mother of Achilles dipped him in the River Stynx until he became intollerable.
He would be ‘intollerable’ having being dipped in the river ‘Stynx’ wouldn’t he?
It’s definitely worth a read. The credit for this find goes to Timka. (Thanks)
