In terms of how great the article is, I would give it a 3.5/5, maybe a 4/5. (So in my opinion it’s definitely worth a read and some attention)

A lot of what the article covers is common sense but can easily be overlooked as well.

  • Push yourself and get good
  • Be likable, excited and enthusiastic
  • Be referable
  • Design a portfolio you think clients want to see (and not what you’d design to show other designers)
  • Focus on clients and be flexible
  • Get a high profile
